In today's time, it is very important to emphasize on child development and child rights because it is necessary for the future of the country. Simply put, child rights are the human rights of children. Every child, regardless of his age, race, gender, wealth or birthplace, has rights.
These rights are enshrined in the Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC) in international law. All children should be treated fairly, equally and respectfully. After the devastating consequences of the world wars of the 20th century and their psychological and physical impact on children, the United Nations (UN) decided that the human rights of children need special protection. Today, in India too, commissions have been formed in the country and state for the protection of child rights. Child rights are those rights which have been created to provide protection to minors. These rights include the right to life, nutrition, right to health, right to education, right to protection from neglect from family and family environment, right against mistreatment, abuse and exploitation of children. The work of the Child Protection Organization is to develop the overall development of children, take care of their education and safety. Punish those who violate child rights.
Parents have an important responsibility in the protection of children, they should raise their children well and not let their children fall prey to any bad habits. There are many laws for the protection of children in India and child protection is being increasingly accepted as a key component of social development. Lack of human resource capacity at the ground level and lack of quality prevention and rehabilitation services are challenges in implementing these laws. As a result, millions of children become victims of violence, abuse and exploitation.
Due to all these reasons, Child Protection Organization was formed so that the present of the country can be improved and the future can be made better. Protecting, respecting and fulfilling the rights of children is possible only when we can educate children, families, institutions and organizations and provide them the right help to overcome the challenges of child rights. Child Protection Organization is committed to save the future of the country and make it excellent.
Children have human rights as well as the rights which are primary for their all-round development. Children have human rights as well as the rights which are primary for their all-round development. The rights which are necessary for children because they are human beings and children come under the category of child rights and children have the right to protection in case of any kind of danger or risk.
Child rights were declared in India in the year 1959 but they were accepted on 20 November 2007. Children have many rights like right to education, right to live, right to participation, right to protection, right to development etc. But in today's time, a large number of them are being exploited and harassed. Due to the bad behavior of the society, helpless children are moving towards drug addiction and criminalization. Which will have a direct impact on the future of the country.
The basic rights of small children are taken away and they are put to work. Like - someone is working at a tea shop, someone at a grocery shop, someone is working as a laborer, someone is working as a servant in other people's houses, someone is cleaning utensils in other people's houses etc. All this takes away their childhood. The main function of the Child Protection Organization is to create social awareness towards eliminating violence, abuse and exploitation against children, to promote and nurture the law and to provide education to children and the Child Protection Organization is also committed to provide sensitive, timely and efficient protection and services to the victim.
