Child Protection Organization is committed to building a strong, prosperous, self-reliant India, a modern, progressive and enlightened nation, inspired by its ancient Indian culture and values. Child Protection Organization has been established to awaken child consciousness, promote child protection, promote child education and prevent child crime, harassment, etc. in the country, ready to play its effective role in establishing a justice-based system. This organization is registered under the rules and Act 1882 of the Government of India, GOVT. OF NCT NEW DELHI. Child Protection Organization is a national organization that is committed to rendering its services by actively discharging its duties at the local, district, division, zone, regional and national levels.  Protecting child rights, investigating violation of child rights, investigating those factors of children affected by communal violence, riots, natural disaster, domestic violence, HIV/AIDS, prostitution, abuse, harassment and exploitation, pornography and prostitution and informing the concerned government/government/administration/ and saving them from such serious calamities so that the future of our country is bright and coming generations can enhance the development and dignity of the country. The main function of the Child Protection Organisation is to ensure protection of child rights in the country,A system has to be established which can ensure the rights of children with accuracy, completeness and effectiveness of all the legal provisions in the interest of children and all the schemes being run for their protection and development and can play the role of a vigilant guard and guide to make them more effective so that a positive and happy environment can be created for children in the country because children are unique creations which if not preserved properly or if attention is not paid to their development, then the path of the country's future will become dark. India has the highest number of children in the world. The Constitution of India has ensured various rights of children for their welfare, protection, promotion and development. It is also expected by the Constitution of India that the tender age of children should not be misused and due to economic need they should not be forced to take up such jobs which are not in accordance with their age or strength and children should be given opportunities and facilities for healthy development in a free and dignified environment and children and minors should be protected from exploitation and moral and economic abandonment.  The Child Protection Organization is always ready to work for the development and all-round progress of the nation by following the Constitution and law of India and will remain so in future too. The right to education of children was added as a fundamental right in Article 21 (a) of the Constitutional Amendment Act, 2002.In which provision of free and compulsory education for all between the ages of 6 and 14 has been made and a separate provision (T) has been added in Article 51 A which puts the duty of parents and guardians to educate their children compulsorily. According to Article 45, the state will try to make provision for early childhood, care and education for all children till they complete the age of 6 years. Under Article 24, no child below the age of 14 years will be employed in factories, mines and hazardous work.

The Child Protection Organization will continue to work under the Constitution and law of India to fulfill its objective.

The organization believes in nationalism and national integration, democracy, socio-economic issues, which can lead to the establishment of an exploitation-free and equal society, and positive secularism i.e. social work with equal respect for all religions.

 The basic philosophy of Child Protection Organisation is-

 अर्थात हमारा कर्तव्य व धर्म है बाल सुरक्षा करना -

● देशसेवायाद् महत्तरं कर्तव्यं नास्ति, न्यायात् महत्तरः धर्मः नास्ति।  

अर्थात - देश सेवा से बड़ा कोई कर्म नहीं, न्याय से बड़ा कोई धर्म नही 

● अद्यतनं बालभविष्यं देशस्य श्वः एव 

अर्थात- बच्चों का आज का भविष्य ही देश का कल है

Child Protection Organisation Pledge / Oath

Functions of Child Protection Organization

i. To protect, investigate and review child rights and recommend measures for their effective implementation.

ii. To provide suggestions on the work of child development and protection by the Child Protection Organization to the Central Government / State Government or Commission or the concerned authority at annual intervals.

iii. To investigate the violation of child rights and inform the concerned department commission ministry for action in such cases and take suo motu cognizance and present it to the police or court for legal action under child protection standards and sections of the Act.

Objective

Our work is to strengthen the foundation of India's energy, future, thinking, because it has become completely unbalanced. Due to which the future of the country and society seems to be dark in the coming times. In today's time, there are many working systems in this field, but what has improved the situation? This is still a question. This is a serious issue because there should be a system that can work in this role and work for the conditions of children and work as a representative for the government. i. To protect, investigate and review child rights and recommend measures for their effective implementation.

ii. To provide suggestions on the work of child development and protection by the Child Protection Organization to the Central Government / State Government or Commission or the concerned authority at annual intervals.

iii. To investigate the violation of child rights and inform the concerned department commission ministry for action in such cases and take suo motu cognizance and present it to the police or court for legal action under child protection standards and sections of the Act.

iv. To investigate the factors affecting children due to terrorism, communal violence, riots, natural disasters, domestic violence, HIV/AIDS, prostitution, abuse, harassment and exploitation, pornography and prostitution and to arrange appropriate remedial measures for their rights.

v. To deal with children related issues such as children doing illegal work, children without family and children of prisoners who do not have guardians and to make appropriate remedial arrangements for them.

vi.  To visit the places where children are studying in government, non-government schools, children in orphanages, children studying in ashram system etc. and to review various programmes and other activities on child rights from time to time and to make efforts for their effective implementation in the interest of children. To check the exploitation of children studying in government, non-government schools, children in orphanages, children studying in ashram system by factors like school, school environment, teachers etc., schools providing mid-day meal system, in which the quality of food and diet given to the children is checked and to inform the concerned department for necessary action.

vii. To spread child rights literacy in different sections of society and to spread awareness about the protection provisions available for these rights through publications, media, seminars and public awareness programmes, and other means by the members of the council. To motivate rural and poor children for education by getting them enrolled in government schools under the Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan.

viii. To inspect any juvenile detention home or any other residence or institution where children are kept for treatment, reform or protection, which comes under the Central Government or State Government or any other authority, or an institution run by a social organization and to inform the government for legal action in case of non-compliance with the standards of the Child Rights Act.

x.  Working on prevention of violation of child rights. Working for protection and development of children, right to free education, sexual crimes against children, penetrative sexual assault, sexual harassment of children, aggravated sexual assault, use of children for pornography, false complaint or false information against children, homeless street children, trafficking victims, orphaned and abandoned children, begging children, malnourished children, sexually abused children, children whose life is at risk, drug addicts, disabled children, victims of natural disasters, HIV/Leprosy affected children, child labour victims, child marriage victims, children who are victims of discrimination. Working for their rescue, upliftment and development and sending its report to the government from time to time and making efforts for their protection.

xi. For protection of child rights, working for the protection of child rights and formation of child courts for speedy disposal of crimes against children or violation of child rights or issues related to them.

xii.  Crimes listed under POCSO Act To punish the criminal, an individual or a group who commits any of the crimes listed in the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act 2019 by the court of law.

xiii. To work for the safety of girl child in society, family, school etc., protection of human rights, prevention of human rights violations, prevention of women harassment, prevention and control of corruption etc. To promote human rights, freedom and social justice and fundamental rights.

To work as an advocacy group and establish advocacy groups for the advancement of good governance of child protection, protection of child rights, prevention of women harassment, human rights, social justice.

xiv. To work for the protection of rights of general public and for public interest from time to time in collaboration with Central Government/State Government/Police/Commission for Protection of Child Rights/Women Commission/Human Rights Commission/Court/Children Court/Human Rights Court. To develop a more specific and effective role for child rights/human rights/women rights and justice. To spread the messages/values ​​of child and human rights through child/human rights education.

xv. To promote social progress and better standards of life and activity in collaboration with the Government for the promotion of child rights and child protection and human rights, freedom, social justice and fundamental rights.

xvi.  To work actively with the Government to promote child development, child rights and protection, prevention of juvenile crime and human rights and to help in prevention of legal, social and economic discrimination against women and their exploitation in various forms. 

Publish books, encyclopaedias, monographs, journals and directories on child protection, child rights, prevention of juvenile crime, human rights and to prepare studies and reports on violations etc.

xviii. To strive to strengthen the participation of women in developmental activities. To address poverty alleviation programmes through education and skill training with special focus on vulnerable and marginalized groups of women and children. To undertake development programmes for the girl child and adolescent girls.

xvix. To undertake and conduct such programmes and activities as may be necessary and incidental or conducive to the attainment of any of the objectives. To promote organisations of forums such as co-operative societies, boards etc. To work for socio-economic development and human welfare.

xx. To strive for education, welfare and development of women, children and backward community both in urban and rural areas throughout the country. To provide free education to poor, helpless and needy children/students

Along with the Child Protection Organization, it is the duty of all of us to give the right direction to the poor and helpless children, to show them the way to their right destination, to stop the harassment against them.

The Child Protection Organization works as a guide for the future of poor, neglected and helpless children by bringing together eminent people of the society with the help of government machinery.
